Younes Agoumi, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Younes Agoumi is an ophthalmologist and surgeon at the CHUM. He is also head of the Glaucoma section at the University of Montreal.

After completing his medicine at the University of
Sherbrooke, Dr. Agoumi graduated in Ophthalmology from the University of Montreal. He then undertook a subspecialty training in Glaucoma at Dalhousie University in Halifax, a centre of excellence in this field. Thanks to his training,
Dr. Agoumi treats a variety of patients with glaucoma, using state-of-the-art diagnostics and interventions ranging from minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS) to traditional glaucoma procedures.
In the Department
of Ophthalmology at the University of Montreal, Dr. Agoumi teaches medical students and residents. He is also part of the glaucoma fellowship program at the University of Montreal.
